The Open Education Foundation offers a powerful solution for non-profit organizations who are looking to address this challenge:

The Open Education Foundation funds the creation or strengthening of local non-profit organizations that develop high-quality teaching materials covering the entire national curriculum within our platform. These materials, to be created by respected authors employed by the local organizations, will be more effective and significantly more affordable than those produced by commercial publishers.

The Open Education Foundation develops a platform that provides teachers with access to a wide range of teaching materials they can adapt to their context, as well as tools to create and share their own. Teachers can edit existing content as easily as a slide deck, design their own textbooks, and access a growing library of shared materials created by fellow educators. The platform also offers personalised guidance and support for each student.

This model is already being implemented in The Netherlands and is ready to expand globally. We invite new or existing non-profit organizations and education leaders to join us. With our software and co-funding, you can launch your own local initiative and help shape the future of education in your country. Free from commercial dependence, aligned with your national curriculum, and led by teachers.
